Optimalisasi Partisipasi Mahasiswa KKN STIE KARYA Ruteng Dan Warga Dalam Bakti Sosial Untuk Peningkatan Kebersihan Pasar Mukun, Desa Golo Meni, Kec.Kota Komba Utara, Kab.Manggarai Timur

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the cleanliness of Mukun Market in Golo Meni Village, North Kota Komba Subdistrict, East Manggarai Regency, through the active participation of KKN STIE KARYA Ruteng students and local residents. The program was conducted over two weeks using the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method, where the community and students worked together to plan and implement social actions. The results of the activity showed an increase in public awareness of the importance of environmental cleanliness and the achievement of a cleaner market condition. Success was measured through indicators of community participation in cleaning activities, waste management, and the improvement of habits in maintaining cleanliness in the market area. Although the activity was successful, challenges remain, such as limited cleanliness facilities and the need for follow-up programs to sustain the achieved results. The recommendation from this activity is the need for further support from the village government in providing cleaning facilities and implementing regular cleanliness programs.
